The only organic tea garden in India that produces international quality tea leaves. Initiated by Govt. of Sikkim in 1969 with a small area, to facilitate income generation for Tibetan refugees, now covers an area of 440 acres. Temi tea garden is a phenomenal example of converting a otherwise non income generating land into an income generating land keeping intact the virginity of the soil. The lush green tea garden on one side and the snow clad Khanchengdezonga on the other is a wonderful blend of creation of man and nature that truly casts a panoramic glimpse and a lifetime memory. Located at just 18 Km from Ravangla, in South Sikkim district, Temi tea garden is just another appealing destination.
