Khoh Ramhah

The conical shaped rock formed naturally resembling Shiv Linga is one of the major attraction. Besides, this view point offers you an opportunity to have aerial glance of bordering Bangladesh. Locals believe that this approximately 200 feet tall conical rock formation is the fossilized form of bamboo basket, positioned upside down, used by an evil spirit. The gets more vibrant during monsoon due to lively act of the waterfall nearby the viewpoint. Located at a distance of about 10 Km from Cherrapunji along the Sojra -Sheilla road, Khoh Ramhah is also known as Mothrop or Pillar rock as they are one and the same.
